And this vision took shape in the mind of The Colonial Lifestyle’s founder, Claire Jones. Claire, ever since she was young she lived in many types of homes from modern to traditional.
Thanks to her parent’s job that made them shift constantly every year from one place to another. And this gave her the wide range of exposure she needed to create this platform today.
She has experienced how homes hold stories and souls of families that lived in them. She understands the same home can hold such different styles, vibes, depending on who lived there. She wants to bring that kind of vibe for everyone. The kind that can make anyone pause, breathe for a moment, and feel this sense of belongingness.
As the time went by homes started losing their charm and soon fast paced trends took over. She came to a realisation that the essence of home was slowly disappearing because of the modern touches. She made this her goal that she needed to preserve this. After doing her degree in interior designing and architecture, she decided to create this platform to protect the heritage, honour the true craftsmanship, and bring back home’s originality.
